The Tivoli is an amazing theater. Priced so large families can afford a to see first run movies and enjoy all the concessions of a major theater chain. Ran by volunteers who love their city and their hometown theater. We drive 20 miles to go there and are never disappointed. Its clean, and very inviting. The Tivoli is a nostalgic 30's era theater that has been completely renovated. It's truly an amazing experience

The Tivoli is the BEST place to watch a movie or see a live show. It is exactly as it was 12/31/28, with the exception of the overhead lighting. It depicts the night sky as it would have been over the Tivoli New Years Eve! All volunteers, save one. Affordable for families to see first run movies.
This theater was an unexpected jewel. A friend told me about it and I took my younger children simply because I needed to kill a few hours while another child was busy with a school function... But it was the best movie theater experience I have had since childhood. The inside is beautiful. All the staff were friendly and the prices for tickets AND food were extremely reasonable. If you are in the area, give it a try. You will not be disappointed. Way to go Spencer, Indiana. (Don't miss the lights on the ceiling!)
The Tivoli Theater is an amazing and historic building in the city of Spencer. It is a place full of a nice and chill environment with cool decorations. The theater workers are all voluntaries, with make the idea of the project way more nicer and meaningful. However, the theater doesn't show many movies and it's is limited by one movie or session per day, which makes it sometimes difficult to have a good movie and making you wait on weeks for a nice movie, but that's not the mission of the Tivoli so it's kind of forgiving if you analyse it more closely. It's an amazing place to go with your family to have a nice time in an historic attraction.
