City of Martinsville - Mayor's Office

in my honest opinion Mayor Shannon Kohl is the best thing that has ever happened to Martinsviile - the downtown area is completely being rejuvenated and is looking great, 5 star gal in my book, so proud of what she has done for our town and esp. the square. So exciting to see all the improvements.

I live on South Graham Street next to an empty lot that NOONE takes care of at all!! The grass is literally taller than my 6 year old daughter! It is causing insects, nats, mosquitos, you name it. Besides it look disgusting and unappealing to our neighbors, family and friends who visit us or even drive by. Its embarrassing. I have called 3 times no answer so I have left 3 voicemails. The city knows its here they come get my trash so they see it. I once had to pay $100 fine because my 9 year old set our trash on the curb 1 day early. Who is going to get fined for this?
