Was expecting a package from Amazon. Normally carrier brings them to the house. Got a email from Amazon stating carrier did not want to leave package unattended. I was home!!!! Three vehicles in the driveway. I watched carrier sit at mailboxs for over five minutes and never come down the driveway. It's a DIFFERENT carrier everyday!!!!! I get my neighbors mail. I wonder where my mail goes. Had a great carrier for years!nPlease get me another carrier that can handle the job. Two weeks ago a different carrier left a package for my neighbor sitting on top of her newspaper box, in the road, in plain sight where anyone could steal it. Either they don't worry about packages at all and leave them in the road or are afraid to leave them on the porch of someone who is obviously home.

Literally the worst post office in the entire country. More mail has been lost going out of Martinsville or coming into Martinsville that I’ve ever seen. We have lost a lot of money with clients trying to send us checks and they never make it. Unless you send overnight express or priority, regular mail rarely makes it to our Martinsville address. Terrible terrible post office. Worst ever!!!!!!!!!

Will not deliver Amazon packages..says attempted delivery...never ever had delivery problems from Amazon until moving here 2 weeks ago. - Update issue with delivery of packages has been resolved ladies at the counter at the Post office were very helpful

Suppose to have packages being delivered. I get a alert saying USPS cannot access driveway. My cameras show the entire road including my driveway and no one has attempted to pull in my driveway all day. Sounds to me like they just didn't want to or have time to drive the packages to my house. Ridiculous. Not to mention the driver constantly cuts through yards to get to the next driveway. I will be calling in this is getting ridiculous not to mention the wait to call in is 45minutes to a hour. USPS has really gone downhill.

This post office may be small but the first time you enter, you feel like you have just walked in to the early 1900s! One of historical gems if Martinsville. Unlike so many post offices that have not stood the test of time, been remodeled, or updated to a Mid-Century industrial feel, this one still has all its original charm. I love seeing the old hardware on the mailbox door fronts and the murals on the walls and smile every time I walk in. The staff is always courteous and efficient.
