Kendrick Family Medicine: Guy Crowder, MD

Dr. Crowder is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had! He’s super thorough and is willing to listen to your concerns without making you feel silly or rushed. He’s great at explaining things in a way you can understand and you can tell he really cares about his patients over all well being. It’s a shame that most of the reviews on here are for a different doctor because Dr. Crowder definitely deserving of 5 stars!

Doctor Crowder is wonderful. I could not have asked for a better doctor. He is so professional, intelligent, and he takes time to listen and explain! A patient can definitely see that he cares!

When I called to see if he was accepting new patients, he was but it took two months to get a new patient appointment. Dr. Bear seemed nice. I still had to pay full price for an appointment where nothing happened, though. Now that I actually need to see him, the problems have started. The appointment scheduler cannot answer any questions and always directs you to leave a message for Dr. Bear's nurse. Said nurse never calls back in a timely fashion and is always rude. I called last week and couldn't get in on thur or fri or get a callback before they closed. So I called today (mon) at 9a (when they open) and get directed to nurse voicemail. She calls back two hours later and tells me she has been busy scheduling actual sick people who called before me and wed afternoon is the soonest the doctor can see me. This is not the end of her rudeness and there is 10 more min of it as I ask about other options. I will not be going back. Dr. Bear may be an ok doctor but I will never know because I can't get in to see him and I only get to talk to his unprofessional staff.
