I have never written a review before, but by the gods if I’m not going to change that. Do not go there if the older lady that everyone talks about is there. I had my first run-in with her today after months of using this laundromat and I am never going back. Let me restate: N-E-V-E-R. I had a very simple issue: the coin tray on one of the machines jammed. Instead of being helpful like some of the other staff I’ve seen, it was immediately my fault and a burden to her to help me. Then, as I was swapping the laundry to another washer (which she told me to do in a huff, by the by), she watched over me like I was a child making sure I did things right. I have severe anxiety about people watching my every movement, so, when I counted the coins to make sure I had them all in correctly, I kept coming up with the wrong number. Her response was, again, to treat me like a child and told me that it takes all of the coins she had refunded me in the absolute rudest tone one could muster. The facility is great but Christ on a BIKE they need to replace her, or they’ll run out of customers.

Being without a washer and dryer is difficult and inconvenient , and a laundromat is the last place anyone wants to be. However, after having a disastrous experience at the w. 17th laundromat, clothes turned yellow in the dryer, facility was dirty, majority of the machines were out of order, needless to say dreading going to yet another laundromat was inevitable. The highland village laundromat was an outstanding facility. Very clean, machines were newer and all appeared to be working, laundry attendant was friendly and helpful, up to date new floors, and a variety of washing and drying machines to fit your budget and the amount of laundry you had. Very positive experience

I purposely went to this laundromat based solely on the reviews.nnIt was as described. A nice, clean facility with new equipment and kept very clean by the very nice, kind, and courteous attendant lady with a killer tan. WOW!nnThe only complaint was the air conditioning not working on this 90 degree humid day. I was actually looking forward to doing my laundry in a cool place. But, things do happen. Please, don't let my whining discourage you from doing laundry here. It is a very clean, well kept place. Worth going to. The prices are within line of other laundromats that I have been to across the United States as well.

It's a nice place but the machines are expensive. Also some cycles are shorter than the time displayed, I will explain. I started two of the same machines at the exact same time both should have finished the same time right? One finished 5 minutes earlier but they were started at the same time. I question this.
