We started with Arlington many years (and furbabies) ago, and have been so pleased with their service. From helping us fight cancer, to comforting us as we guided loved ones over the rainbow bridge, they have always been kind, forthright and compassionate. While there may be cheaper options in vet care in the area, the service we have received for our pets has been worth it!

Not the level of care I wanted, but I appreciate them seeing my cat since his regular vet is closed. He's better already and they addressed the issue he had and I am pleased with the results. He did spend all day at the vet (9am-4:30pm) but I understand in these crazy times. Thank you!

In the middle of a global pandemic in a town where vets are in short supply, you have to cut the vet office some slack, but even so, Arlington Heights falls short.nnMy past experiences with Arlington South used to be uniformly positive. I love Dr. Jennifer Breeze, and she has been the same only reason I have stayed as long as I have.nnWith the pandemic, they are chronically short staffed, but I also suspect they have retention issues. If you call, you cannot get through. I have up leaving messages because they never called back. They said that they have literally hundreds of voice messages. Okay, so I discovered that if you drop by the office, you can better set up appointments and pick up meds.nnHowever, they require 24 hours notice to refill a prescription. Remember that you can't get them by phone. This means a trip to ask for the refill and a trip to pick it up. This week, I had car trouble and couldn't get to the office. I swung by after getting my car back on a Saturday (my car went into the shop a few days prior)and could not get the meds til Monday. These are for my dog's incontinence. Sure, I will be cleaning up urine for the next 36 hours, but at least it is not a life-threatening condition.nnI am over Arlington. All the reasons I started coming here--emergency hours, convenient location, fast service--are now gone. The one bright spot is Dr Jen, who is the only vet who will actually talk with you.nnIf you are thinking of a new vet, look elsewhere.

I've always had great service from both west & south side. No complaints there. But I thought your hours were till 7 Monday-Sat & can't find your hours anywhere online. I'm here at 6:30 Saturday night to pick up some meds & you're closed. You close early on Saturday? Isn't Saturday the best time for working people to bring their pets in? Instead of waiting on a cold porch outside at night to be seen by of dr?

Tyson was the purfect patient and got lots of positive attention and even a few treats. The prices were reasonable and he was put up to date on all his vaccines.
