Monroe County Planning Department

I recently applied to update an old building permit for a garage addition. I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call the following day that my permit was approved!!. It only took one business day for both Monroe planning and Monroe building departments to approve my permit!! I would give 10 stars if they were available.

I have had nothing but good experiences with the monroe county planning department. Sure, they have rules which occasionally get my my way but the staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and courteous.
