Best barbecue joint in Bloomington. They're kind of tucked in a hiding spot, so not enough people know about this place. Which means he'll be in and out of there super fast with some great food
Asked for a mask to buy, because mine was broke.nI was charged $2 for it. This price wasn’t mentioned until after I put it on.nLike... I could have been informed I was going to be GOUGED before purchasing one. That’s ridiculous.nnI’ll be asking the manager about that the next time I see him. The woman who works the mornings isn’t great in general. So try not to go before noon if you don’t have to.
Little pricey with no cold beer (or, at least no normal beer that is cold).nHours change as the owner pleases, I guess.nnEfficient stop, but inconsistent.
The lady who works in the mornings is so extremely rude. She makes me feel so uncomfortable that I’ve decided I’m just going to start going somewhere else in the mornings to get my biscuits and gravy, since apparently it’s such an inconvenience for her to do her job.
I was disappointed that they only have brisket on Fridays. I was there on Saturday. The pulled pork was done just right, but it was the sauce that delivers much of the flavor. The staff that served me was a really nice fellow who went out of his way to make sure everything was just right.
