We stayed here during the Eugene surrounding wild fires. It was a last minute change to our original trip down the Coast of Oregon. Eric In the office was so accommodating and managed to get us a spot for a couple of nights. This campground is wonderful and I imagine even more beautiful when not covered in smoke from the wildfires. We would stay here again when we return. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We reserved a premium(bigger) site last minute for Thursday and Friday, and the camp hosts were very nice. The site was clean and they provided an outdoor bistro set for each site which was a pleasant surprise. We also liked that it was close to the freeway and easy to get to and they had many bushes and trees unlike many other RV Resorts.nnThings that weren't so good is they advertise restrooms as an amenity, but there's only one toilet for the entire resort. Plus it has a coded lock, so we got to it by walking clear across the rv park and had to turn back for the code in our welcome packet and by the time we got back to it, someone was camped out in there. So we never got to use it.nnAnother thing is we read they have a great trail but it's more like a wood chip path that goes partially towards the dumpsters. You gotta walk the cement/road loop if you really want to go on a stroll. A narrow hot asphalt road is not good for doggy paws or kids so it would be nice if they had a doggy park or an extended trail.nnThe last thing that made me uncomfortable is the reason why I gave 3 stars instead of 4 stars. The bible/Jesus verse in the welcome packet was IMO inappropriate and makes us feel like we're not their preferred clientele.

So pleasantly surprised. The spots were a bit small but very well designed to navigate. Nestled in the trees and very quiet. Very clean too.

Deerwood RV Park was a nice quiet park. The space we had was spacious and long enough for our 37ft trailer and truck. Nice bistro set instead of a picnic table. Mostly adults at this park, not much for children to do. Nice stopover for 2 nights with Cottage Grove, Springfield and Eugene within a few miles to explore.

Nice clean, quiet park. Level paved pads, but very close together. Had to have our neighbor move his truck for us to pull out.. Nice bistro set instead of picnic table. Our 38 ft motorhome & toad JUST fit in the pull thru site, but there was another site that would have fit us much better. Stayed 3 nights visiting family. Didn't use restrooms, showers or laundry.
