Everyone was kind and thoughtful. The office went out of their way to give us a great experience during the covid restrictions. I appreciated the tech bringing out the ear model to give me a better understanding of how to administer the medicine.
It was an all around great experience. The team takes time to make sure you have everything before and the doctor really spends time to understand the issues with your pet and explains everything from diagnosis to recovery plan/options.
Loved how quick ADCI was able to get us in to see the doctor for our German Shepherd, Kaiser. Even though we had to do everything over the phone while Kaiser was inside, the doctor and team were very helpful and did a great job explaining to us the processes, steps and what the plan was. Highly recommend. Thank you.
Our poor kitty Piper has been dealing with an itching problem for a few years. In the beginning it seemed like an allergy thing. We'd have to take her to the vet once a year for an antibiotic & steroid shot.nnUnfortunately, the last 12 to 18 months the shots were not working. They would help for a month or two but we would end up back at the vet. We were spending hundreds of dollars and we saw little improvement. We decided to take the plunge and see a dermatologist. Dr. Bailey suggested Animal Dermatology Clinic and we started going about 30 to 45 days ago.nnAlthough it is expensive, which we expected since they specialize in dermatology, it was the best decision we made and I only wish we would have gone sooner.nnPiper is 14 years old and who knows how much time she has left, but we knew we couldn't let her live the rest of her days with a cone on her head. If we took the cone off she would literally chew her paws and arms causing them to bleed. And even though she was crying out in pain while she chewed, she could not stop. She also scratched behind her ear and chin until it was a bleeding wound and infected.nnOn our first visit to the dermatology clinic, they took her back and did some skin scrapings and looked at it under a microscope. To my surprise, Piper had a fungal problem. It was between her toes, in her ears, on her chin... all the places she had either been chewing or scratching. This news was a game changer. They put her on an ointment that would heal the fungal/antibiotic issue between her toes along with a pill steroid. She was also given drops that would fix the fungal infection going on her ears. After a month she was looking much better.nnWe went back in for a follow up appointment and they changed a few things. We had another follow up appointment today for her next antibiotic shot and she is doing so much better. She is now cone free and she can finally clean herself which is something she has always liked to do and one of the reasons she hated the cone so much.nnWithout Animal Dermatology Clinic I have no doubt we would have had to put our poor Piper down. She had already lived about 6 months with a cone on and that is no way to live. I'm so glad she finally has a fighting chance.nnThank you Animal Dermatology Clinic!
Our doggy was having repeated bacterial skin infections. Dr Plowgian really impressed us by looking at the total picture of our dog’s health and not ‘just’ at her skin! He took the time to get a detailed history from us as well as giving us a detailed, written summary of her as a patient including possible diagnoses and treatment plans moving forward! No Vet Clinic has done this!! We would highly recommend Dr Curtis Plowgian always!! Staff was very friendly and professional both over the phone and at curbside as well!!
