I came here by referral from my doctor for a muscle tear in my mid back. After a short exam, I was told i had a dropped right shoulder and that my left leg was short, causing the pelvis to shift and that was why my back wasn’t healing. I was given a heel lift to counteract this. After a few days I had leg and hip spasms on that side. I was told it was normal adjustment to the lift. I progressively got worse over the next few weeks on that side and was told “sometimes you get worse before you get better.” That didn’t sit well with me, so I went to another PT who actually measured and said my legs were even and my left pelvis was actually higher. It’s now been 2 months since this, and I’ve had a chiropractor and sports massage therapist all say my legs are spot on, and we’re still working to correct the damage done by the shoe lift. My original back injury has healed and now I’m just fighting the second and more debilitating injury caused by a poor diagnosis at McKenzie Crossing. I’m most likely going to need an MRI to see why it’s so bad. So if you value your health, please don’t go here. Also, of my 8 appointments here, 5 of them had the times changed the day of, making me miss more work. I wish I had a time machine and could go back and never come here.*UPDATE* I finally got in to see an orthopedic specialist. He did Xrays and after an exam said my legs are even length and that someone diagnosing me a heel lift is preposterous. He said my issue is my SI joint was overly stretched by the heel lift and that the ligaments do not repair themselves well after that. I most likely have a long road ahead of me thanks to Brian here at McKenzie Crossing. Thank you very much for the terrible diagnosis and I hope I can save someone else from what I’m going through.

I'm a bodyworker and came here recently to rehab a mild knee issue. And this is where I'll be sending my people first for injury rehab support and muscle imbalance issues I can't fix from now on.nnThey seem to use the usual exercises and stretches, as well as manual therapies that are both effective and more appropriate for a wider base of people (i.e. many folks don't respond well to fast, deep manual therapies like graston/scar tissue scraping). They explain things well, layer homework such that they're unlikely overwhelm with people with too many exercises/stretches, tape well, have good bedside manner, don't over-prescribe their own services and seem overall efficient with their clientele's cash and time. And while you'll likely see both a PT and a PTA while you're there, their PTAs clearly know their stuff (special props to Megan and Gwyn).nnCan't recommend them enough!

Brian has been most helpful in treating me AND my husband! He has gotten us out of pain so that our shoulders were strengthened and recovered. His techniques are sound and so effective. I highly recommend Brian to anyone that needs help.

I cannot say enough positive things about the care and people at McKenzie Crossing. Cheryl and Gwyn are extremely knowledgeable and skilled providers. They don't just treat the symptom and throw random exercises at you. They treat the cause of the issue with a technique called Strain/Counterstrain, it's pretty amazing (and very gentle). I am so very grateful for my care and recommend them to anyone who is in pain.

I am very happy with the service I received at McKenzie Crossing Physical Therapy. Bryan was so helpful. I really appreciated how he explained everything going on with my injury and what he was doing and why in a way that I could clearly understand. Everyone in clinic was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.
