Concentra Urgent Care

Venus, Patricia, Mark and the Nurse Practitioner (sorry, I forgot her name) attended to me with courtesy & respect. Everyone was professional and they appeared concerned with my issue. I was referred for a CT in a short time. I have been referred to a specialist fairly fast. I'm very satisfied with all the staff at Concentra. Why only a four star rating, you may wonder? We can all improve as we keep doing our best.

When you think of urgent care you expect that you will be treated as such. There was nothing urgent! You wait, wait, wait, and wait. It’s not like there were a lot of people there but they act as if your time is not valuable and the care is immediate. If you wanted to wait nearly 2 hours, you’d be better off going to an emergency room (if you have insurance). I do not recommend this location until they can get it together and be patient oriented!

Arrived at 3p for a basic physical exam. Customer service from sign in to check out was below average. I've been at other locations, and received the best service as expected. At this particular location and visit it was unpleasant. I did not witness staff using any disinfectant between patients. Clipboards were not properly cleaned. Tablet was not cleaned. The lady who called my name was very informal, just yelling out my last name. Not identifying me as Miss/Mrs. The pulse oxcimeter/stethoscope/blood pressure cuff was not properly cleaned before or after use. The keyboard, pad and mouse was visibly dirty. She nor the physician disinfected the area. They were just careless to enforce safety precautions, during this time when it's mandatory. It was just gross to witness. The only positive experience was from the lady behind the counter, behind the desk, not in scrubs. And it was also an inconvenience for me to be required to complete the electronic charting of my medical history. I did not leave the facility until 5:30p.

I have received excellent and professional service from both the office and medical staff at Concentra. They helped to resolve my medical issue, while showing me ways to stay healthy moving forward.

The staff is always friendly they work very hard to do there best job to work with there patience in and out as fast as they can.
