Wow, I am unsure if the general disinterest in helping the public, or the deceptive practices are worse. Calls are put on hold for extremely long wait times. Leave a bunch voicemails, go ahead, but good luck ever getting called back. Call with a question, get referred to another line or department, where you can leave another useless voicemail. Better off screaming at a wall for a response. Ask a question and sometimes even get lied to. What a fantastic feeling knowing this is our tax dollars at work! I'm not exaggerating either.

So rude and unwilling to help. Whenever I go in here to pay for my parts and cosmetology license renewal they are always so nasty to me. And I’m actually very nice person I’m never rude I’m never mean I just want to help. So as another person said on this review list if I give this place a negative star I wanted

It doesn't take much to shock me these days, and I've seen a lot. But the utter ineptitude of the personnel at this department is beyond compare. Nobody knows where anything is at, nothing can be found and nobody is ever at their desk. It makes me wonder if they have the ringers off or if anyone is actually there. The last word in inefficiency.

The worst ran business not just in the state of New Mexico but in the entire continental United States. If there were negative stars to offer it would be given a negative five. This is a government ran agency so basically you don't even get what you pay for especially when it comes to customer service. The people are rude and act as if you are taking a piece of thier "pie" so to speak. I've lived in of our 48 inland states and have never encountered such unkind and uncaring people. I do believe that my experiences with the personnel from the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department have lead my wife and I to seek employment in another state as well as making the decision to uproot our children from the only schools and friends they have ever known thier entire lives. I understand that New Mexico is a poor state but the people who work for NM regulation & licensing department receive government wages and benefits but offering care and concern isn't a requirement in obtaining a position with the licensing board. Hopefully this review will shed light on a dark subject and my concerns will be addressed.

What an aweful, incompetetent , useless agency. Not only does the website suck, trying to talk to anyone is near impossible. No wonder New Mexico sucks in just about everything.
