Awesome doctor and staff. Lynn (nurse) is the best.

He is an EXCELLENT doctor. He saved my health. He is very knowledgeable, he listens to the patient, he is respectful, and he takes his time. I had a bad endocrinologist prior to switching to Dr. G, the other endocrinologist missed results and didn’t listen to me when I kept saying I thought I had hypothyroidism and was on too much Metformin (I am not a diabetic, just high risk due to PCOS). Dr. G listened to everything I said, and saw I was correct and he surprised me with more information and educated me. He properly diagnosed me with hypothyroidism and is helping me look into Hashimoto’s because he saw antibodies that attack the thyroid on a previous bloodwork that the other endocrinologist missed (which he is knowledgeable in, give him a chance). He is very accurate and thorough. I have seen a few endocrinologists, he is the BEST compared to the rest.

Dr Girdhar was very polite and seemed nice but spent less than 10 minutes with me before advising me to get a referral from my GP for a rheumatologist. He did not seem knowledgeable regarding Hoshimoto's disease, telling me to simply take my thyroid medicine and that there's no need to make dietary or any other changes. Disappointing, after a 3 hour round trip drive to see him and money spent. He doesn't seem to have a good understanding of autoimmune disease. I've spent thousands of dollars seeking answers and healing from doctors but have received most of my real help from the internet and books on autoimmune disease. It all starts in the gut. Eating a clean diet free of grains, dairy, sugar, and soy has helped me more than anything. I'm really avoiding processed foods and seeing how it makes all the difference. I have already gotten one illness into remission and will continue to get well without a bunch of meds, etc. Good luck to everyone on their quest for good health!

He is a great doctor. Every appointment is done in a timely manner. He explains things very clearly and thoroughly. Couldn't recommend him enough!
