Sunnyside Dental Care

I've been a patient at Sunnyside Dental for close to a year. The front staff is always friendly and accommodating of my scheduling and financial needs. They usually offer some water or other beverages in the waiting room which is a nice touch. At the time of this writing (just my second visit) I was nervous due to COVID-19. The state guidelines has changed a bit about the waiting room set up and such. But I was glad for this. Of course there is always a chance for risk (even going to a store) but i felt very safe. They're taking measures to keep patients safe such as requiring masks, spacing chairs in the waiting area, and limiting the number of patients in the waiting room. There is hand sanitizer available for use as well. All of the staff wore masks and during my procedure all hygienist and dentist utilized N95 masks and shields. They clean everything between patients and I felt comfortable that they were taking many measures to do the very best they can to care for patients and themselves. I broke a tooth and felt I couldn't wait to go in But I would feel safe even having routine cleanings. I've had two cleanings and they do a grest job getting my teeth clean. They do set a reasonable amount of time to clean teeth and if I needed additional time there is extra appointments that need to be made. To me this is fair. Each time I've been warmly greeted and felt the staff care for me as a patient. The dentist is very qualified as a female dentist but she's also fun and enjoyable to chat with too. I've had dentists in the past who were all business and not very kind -- leavingall of the personal interactions to hygienists. So her genuinely kind nature is something I appreciate. I needed a filling during my last visit and it was relatively painless and over with quickly. I haven't needed a filling in a very long time so I was impressed with their use of the latest technologies. I personally don't have issues with going to the dentist but I have a very good friend who does and I thinking of people looking for a kind dentist with friendly staff (if you're nervous and need some friendly faces and calming people) i think you may really like this office. And this may be weird to note but I've also known people who gage if they can go to a dentist due to a fear of having all of these dental tools in their mouth and the dentist large hands crowding their mouth and making them panic. This dentist has smaller hands and didnt force anything like cramming tools around and clacking my teeth. She asked several times how I was doing and asked me to communicate with hand signals if I needed her to pause during my work. I mean, this is just a very caring way to do dentistry. And so i felt this is worth mentioning because most people I know don't love the dentist very much. This dentist is great!

Very friendly

I have been going to this dentist office for years and since this last doctor change, the service has been slowly going down and after the front desk staff changed it is now by far the worst. I have had my teeth cleaning appointment cancelled 4 times by the staff and not being able to get in for months in between each. Everytime they say the hygienist had an emergency. My bite is no longer the same since I had my last filling and they don't know how to do billing and estimates. The one nice thing is, the dentist is very nice and she always has a good attitude when I do see her. If I wasn't so busy I would've been switched dentists. I wish I knew which office the previous dentist had moved to. Basically keep looking if you're not pressed for a dentist.

The best dental care I have experienced! My hygienist Diana did a great job on my cleaning. A+ office.
