Franklin Township Family Medicine: Lyle R. Cortez, DO

The nurse forced me to wear a mask instead of my customary face shield (which is widely accepted). I tried to explain about my asthma, and that I’ve had bad experiences with masks, but she brushed me off, as if I were a child. RUDE. Further restricting an asthmatic’s breathing is DANGEROUS.

Unfortunately the staff and Doctors don’t really seem to care about whether their patients get help or not, just seems like they’re only there for a paycheck. Very disappointed and I’ll be getting a new doctor ASAP. Dr. Cortez seemed like a good doctor at first but now I see his true colors. Definitely would not recommend this office to anyone.

Dr Cortez is smart, courteous, and a good guy to talk to. Best doctor I've ever had. My teenage son likes him too!

Dr. Cortez is by far the best doctor I've ever had in my entire life. As a military family, we are often forced to see subpar professionals due to Tricare. However, Dr. Cortez has proven to be the exception. He is always surprisingly prompt--most of the time he's in the room before the nurse has even finished getting my vitals! He has an excellent bedside manner--super friendly. He always listens and provides relevant and knowledgeable information. And most importantly, Dr. Cortez always takes me seriously no matter how trivial my issues. Now that our time in Indiana is coming to a close, I'm going to be sad to leave him, and I know I'll be hard-pressed to find anyone comparable at our next duty station.nThe staff is really great at this location too. They are always friendly, professional, and prompt. I never spend more than three minutes in the waiting room. When I need a referral or have a question, Dr. Cortez's staff always get back to me surprisingly quickly.nSeriously, I just can't say enough good things about Dr. Cortez and the staff at Franklin Township Family Medicine.
