Franklin Township Family Medicine: L. Danielle Van Gemert, DO

I am a patient of Dr. Van Gemert. I had surgery to have my gallbladder removed yesterday, and I called the office at 8 am requesting help over the phone since I also have 4 kids at home with Strep Throat. I waited until almost 2pm, and called back. This time I got a call back shortly after saying that the doc still needed to review my message. Then I got a phone call just after 4 saying that the doc had left for the day, and wouldn't be able to get back to me until tomorrow. The lady who called me back at 4 was very short with me. She acted more like I was a burden than a patient in need. I don't see why they would even allow patients to call in and leave a message if it wouldn't be answered. I called at 8am, and was written off at 4.nnGuess I'll be on the look out for a new doc.

We have only been with Dr. Van Gemert for a year, however our experience with her and her staff has been nothing but positive. She spoke not only to me but to my child and included them in their care. She took the time to ask them questions and speak to them about all aspects of their care. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.

I couldn’t be happier to have Dr V as our family doctor. She was very passionate and her nurse is the greatest! Can’t wait to get my twin sons into seeing her.

Dr Van Gemert has no compassion. If you are looking for a family Doctor, this is not the place for you. They are very clearly in this business just for the money. There is no customer service aspect here. And don't bother with their after hours line or the questions line. We left a voicemail at 8am and didn't hear back until the doctor left the office (an hour before they were actually even closed) to let us know the doctor needed more info. Just look at all the bad reviews and choose a different practice.
