Mike's Southport Fishing Lakes

Staff was great & grounds were clean. Not a mile hike to the water like most bank fishing. Can have fires. As a woman I felt completely safe walking around at 2 am. Caught some beautiful blue channel cats. Highly recommend

Best fishing hole, but better have the right dough ball bait or $3 goldfish!

I was very disappointed me and my girlfriend couldn't even get a bite the shop was disgusting and full of junk and the lakes were disgusting.

Fished here for 10 hours and caught nothing. The people across the lake only caught 1 fish. The bait shop is dirty and only had worms and shrimp, which was alot for the little bit you get. The bait shop was full of junk where you can't walk through it. The porter potties are dirty. They don't stock the lake as they say they do. The people are rude when they answer the phone.

even though it's called Carp King they still should let you know that that's all that's in there is carp
