Tibbs Drive-In

Great Drive-In movies w/4 screens running double or more features. Close enough to downtown Indianapolis. Amazing concession stand and very clean bathrooms. This place rules! Someone puts a lot of thought in the movie selections. Greatly appreciated!

It was my first time going to a drive-in theater and my experience at Tibbs Drive-In was great! I was lost and couldn't find my screen. I parked and asked someone in concession and they were very friendly and helpful. The sound quality from your radio was great. If it's your first time, would suggest that you arrive 45 minutes to an hour ahead of time to find your screen and to get a good parking space. I will be going again!

Super fun place to visit!nThey have a great variety of snacks and food available and the staff were all great. There's plenty of space between cars so you don't feel crowded.nBest opportunity is for a double feature. You won't regret it!

Went last month and had a blast. We brought our truck and were super cozy. I wish we had brought a radio/boom box since we ending up turning the truck around and sitting in it since we couldn’t hear anything while in the bed. I thought I would be able to pull up the station on my phone and play through a speaker but you need a legit radio.nnBring your own drinks/snacks. The concessions are honestly really well priced! (Except the pizza it’s like $4-$5 a slice. Just buy a little ceasers pizza on the way.nnWe got there early and got a great spot.nnEveryone was nice and friendly! It was packed!

This review is being written by someone who LOVES going to the drive in, but hasn't been since the days of the speakers you hung on your car window. The picture and sound quality were excellent. Tibbs is losing 1 star because the concession line was impossible and only way you get sound is through your radio. I like to pull my truck in backward and sit in the bed of the truck to watch the movie, but without an outdoor speaker, or a phone app, it's hard to hear even with the volume at max. I will bring a portable radio next time.
