Best gym in the Indianapolis area. I stopped by for a quick workout and was very impressed with the equipment selection.

If you are an avid weightlifter of any kind and live around Indianapolis, there is not another gym on the level of Indy City. It's got an old school feel with an awesome setup and awesome equipment. The gym is a community as well, something that starts with Steve (the owner), who although looks like the real life Hulk, is one of the nicest guys I've met and thoroughly cares about his gym and its members. I was at a typical fitness franchise working out thinking I had no other choice near me, after becoming a member at Indy City I'll never go anywhere else.

Visiting Indy for the week and stopped in to visit this gym. It's awesome, the atmosphere is perfect for anyone who wants to take training seriously. I spoke to Garret, one of the owners. Super helpful and encouraging guy. If I ever come back to this city. This location will be on my list.

I called this place 6 times yesterday between 12pm and 3pm to inquire about joining and not once did anyone bother to answer the phone. What kind of business doesn't answer their phone during staffed hours? I guess they have more business than they know what to do with. Looks like I will be taking my business elsewhere.
