Love this place our family doctor 11+

Krista is an AMAZING doctor. (more than a doctor) but she is Super Freaking Awesome. She totally tunes in on her patients to understand fully what they are trying to say. Thank you so much for all of the process. I greatly appreciate it more than I can express.

My son had an external ear infection. I called at 7:55 and was given an appointment for 11:30 am. My son’s pain was an 8 out of 10. So we arrived and checked in at 10:45. Next my son and I got to watch 5 MAs talking about their weekend coming up and how one went to Tony’s but didn’t give him any birthday sex... with my 12 year old listening. (This was a 20 minute conversation.) We waited till 11:10 and were put in an exam room and vitals taken.n11:50 the doctors actually saw my son. 20 minutes after his appointment time, 40 minutes after being put in an exam room.nShe was in the room for a total of 5 minutes. In that five minutes, 2 different MAs interrupted the exam (trying to find the doctor the correct suture kit.)nThe doc prescribed some antibiotic ear drops and sent us on our way. I was surprised it was drops and not oral. Got to the pharmacy and was informed the drops were $70!!!! The pharmacist said they were already trying to contact the doctor to adjust to a cheaper version (and had been trying for over 15 minutes)nI called People’s and talked to a “Jean” who said she was a nurse. She was completely unprofessional. I explained the situation, paused for her to respond and she said “are you done?”nShe also informed me the message was left for the doctor at 12:22pm. I asked if she could make the doctors aware since my son’s pain was at a 10. She said “the doctors is with other patients and I am not going to interrupt and make them wait.”nI said “well my son’s visit was interrupted twice and we have already been waiting for almost 30 minutes since the pharmacist sent the message.”nJean could not care less. I ask to speak with the manager. I was informed Cindy would be in later today and she would have her all me.nI seriously doubt I will get a call back.nThis place should be closed. It has always had horrible customer service. No follow through. No professionalism. The facility preys on low income patients that have no other option.

I've been going to people's for over 24yrs and i will say that in all honesty they doctorsnDo not care about their patients nor do they have a understanding for the issues that their patients have. I believe that they're only there for a paycheck,it's sad because the ones that mean you good and truly cares about what health issues your dealing with are not the high paid doctors they are the staff who don't get appreciated

My prescription needed a pre-authorization from my insurance. Needless to say it was becoming a headache. The nurse Cindy went above & beyond helping me. She kept communication with me & my insurance, called around & spoke to all different depts. to figure it out. And not only was she able to get it approved. She explained Good RX to me & found me a discount on the prescription I was getting. She was so great & helpful & I felt so grateful to have her help thru the process.
