Safeway Pharmacy

I don’t know the name of the pharmacist working this morning but my Type 1 diabetic 22 year old son came in and was experiencing an extremely high blood sugar event due to a failed insulin pen. He needed a syringe Immediately to pull the insulin out of his inoperable pen. He was sick. The pharmacist immediately recognized the urgency and figured out a way to help him inject his insulin quickly. Thank you for understanding the urgency and taking decisive action. You were wonderful and diverted what could have been a very serious situation. Sincerely,nnOne grateful mom

The Pharmacy staff here are just superb!! Always very helpful, efficient and quick. They're also very friendly and personable, I think of them all as my friends rather then as just the people who fill my medications. Shout out to Pharmacist Brian for always being so kind, professional and willing to go above and beyond for his loyal customers whenever he can help--One weeknight I was really late getting out of work myself and had spent my lunchbreak going to a doctor's appt where an important Rx I really needed was ordered and sent to Safeway Pharmacy; when I finally left work it was one minute before the Pharmacy was scheduled to close so I quickly called them and Brian was the only one working and he'd been kind enough to offer to stay open until I got there so I could get my much needed Rx! I really appreciated him for doing this for me and it's people like him that really make a positive difference for the businesses they work at and he's (along with Cindy and-oh my gosh I forgot her name but another gal too I know well as a frequent flyer there are) a big reason I continue to get all my prescriptions filled through them every month (and I have more then a dozen meds I take daily) even though I could save a lot of money and over half my prescriptions would actually not even cost me anything at all if I were to go through my employers mail order pharmacy. But for years now I have chosen to just keep paying for my Rx's to all be processed at Safeway Pharmacy... I would miss my visits with them so much if I started going through mail order pharmacy and would honestly feel like switching Pharmacies (especially just because of cost difference) would be almost like a betrayal of me to do to them after all they've helped me with and done for me! I really appreciate everyone working at Safeways Pharmacy in Florence Oregon, thank you all for always taking such good care of your customers!! ud83dude01

Slow service, rude staff. Tried to incorrectly charge me for meds covered by my plan multiple times. There's one fella who's actually really awesome... he needs to get paid more.

My daughter had pink eye and the doctor had prescribed her meds to be picked up at this Safeway pharmacy, well we picked them up and I administered what I thought was the eye ointments soon as I put it in her eye she screamed I was like hey stop this shouldn't hurt well me taking the pharmacist word put the ointment in her eyes 3 more times and she still was screaming. I finally looked ay the box had bottle it was ear infection medication.... I was so mad I went straight to Safeway and spoke to the store manager
