David C. Hoffman, DO

I just left Dr. Hoffman’s office and I am completely taken back. Since I was 5 minutes late he refused to see my son. He said he was running behind today and for me to reschedule. I still can’t believe it.nnI’ve never been late before. I was told when I arrived that I was supposed to be there 10 minutes early since this was his first appt. I explained that I was never informed. I also explained that my husband (who was to watch the 2 younger kids) was running behind because of traffic. He left work early and had to drive 1 1/2 hours to make the appt.nnThey told me that they have a 10 minute grace period, but I didn’t make it. Appt was at 3:45, I arrived at 3:50 and was checked in at 3:58. So technically My son was denied his appt and vaccines because of 3 minutes! No joke. “it’s our policy” I was told.nnI chose Dr Hoffman because of the great reviews he received but after today I can see how my children would get treated in the future if I chose to stay with him. Obviously, I will be taking my children elsewhere.nnSide note: our previous appt I had all 3 of my kids, ages 3, 2 and 1. My 3 year old had a mask and of course wasn’t wearing it properly. The nurse, when in the room, kept telling my son to pull his mask over his nose, at least 5 times. I asked what the age for masks was and she said 4. He’s 3. She said “well if he has a mask, Dr Hoffman will want him to wear it.nnFair enough. But...nnWhen we walk out to weigh my daughter one of the nurses had her mask down around her chin. Just another reason I will not return to this facility.

My two grandkids have been with Doctor David Hoffman for many years now and my granddaughter turns 18 years old in April. She is scared to move forward to an adult physician because he is all she knows as her physician. She trust in his word and feels comfortable knowing she’s had his best interest all the way through her childhood journey. My grandson has severe ADHD and can be a handful for us sometime but we trust in our care we receive every time we walk through his door and will for the next 9 years before he has to move on.nThank you Doctor David Hoffman for who you are with these children...

Too bad dr Hoffman is leaving us he is a great dr and will be missed out soon and daughter have seen him their entire lives

We really like him. The office stuff super friendly the office is clean and very kid friendly. So happy to have him as a doctor.

He has been our pediatrician for 10+ years and he is great! So happy he is on the south side now! We drove out of our way for years to see him! He is so wonderful with our kids! Professional, down to earth, and most of all, very caring!
