Gallakota was nice and seemed to care, when I went to get the prescription we talked about, the amount and directions to take were completely wrong. I ended up needing a PA from my insurance, such a hassle I never did get what I needed and instead have started seeing a doctor in the Franciscan health network. As soon as you leave Gallakota office, it's like he didn't hear a word you said, unless it's his nurse which screws alot of stuff up. I do not recommend any of the doctors at community health if they're all like him.

Changed health networks to get a specific family doctor who passed their residency last year. It took months to get in! They wanted to reschedule 3x! Months apart! I understand COVID is causing things to get pushed back. But what I am NOT ok with is how it's the day before my daughter's mandatory 1 year appointment(that already got pushed back a month.)and no one contacted me that they were pushing her appointment back 2 more months! I needed to be notified! (Not to mention they have no direct phone number. And gave me the wrong number to begin with.) I could've gotten an appointment somewhere else by now! She needs her shots!

Very unprofessional and poor service. I would recommend that you spend your money and time elsewhere.

I saw Dr. Sanjiv Gallakota and he was very nice, we spent a lot of time talking about different lifestyle and health issues. I felt he really tried to understand everything about me and gave me some options, which I like. It was my first physical in years so we did a full set of blood tests etc. to establish a baseline. Very satisfied. Only dislike is the wait before he could see me, but I guess that is to be expected.

The workers are extremely nice but don’t expect to see Dr Carvell if you have a child with you or anyone else with you in the room! My first time trying a new family doctor since mine left practice and it was the worst mistake I’ve ever made. I usually bring someone with me just because It makes me feel better and I def got turned down after getting called into the room Could have warned me before my appt some people has jobs and have to take off work to come to the doctor extremely rude as can be! It was a little kid! I will never come to this doctors office again!
