Greenwood City Court

Community service is absolutely crazy. No major charges got a PTD. One 8 hour schedule means you’ll be walking 20+ miles on foot with no checkup and having to bag trash without a picker. I would like to see anyone who’s not physically fit to see if they could even walk it without picking up trash even. Or even one person in the court that could be able to do this.

I've never in my 28 whole year's of living seen or even ud83dudc42 of a judge taking so many breaks....not even half the amount! Also they always seem pretty flustered & unorganized, like it's their first day or something!

Well of course I hated my experience. However it does amaze me that this court has been allowed to exist as simply a revenue stream for the city. I don't understand why I had to not only pay a ticket but also appear in court and pay court fees. I don't understand why the prosecutor couldn't adequately answer my questions and I don't understand why I was treated so poorly. I understand that this is not a customer service firm, however a traffic ticket does not make me a hardened criminal and so I don't feel as though I should be treated as one. A simple smile, please and thank-you would go a very long way from all the staff involved.nnI honestly feel as though if I had the expendable income to pay to have an attorney present with me that I would not have been ran around in the manner that I was. I don't believe they would have spoken to me the way that they did and I don't believe that I would feel so belittled. I understand that I broke the rules of the road and so I have to pay a fine, I would just think that paying the fine would be enough without being subjected to their verbal abuse.
