Peter G. Chan, MD - IU Health Physicians Cardiology

I was referred to dr.chan because of acute chest pain. He did a eeg,stress test, eco test, ultrasound of my heart. Said i was not getting enough blood an oxygen to the left side of my heart. He said we needed to do a heart cath and possible stint. At the hospital, he was running late. So when he got to me, he asked if i was told where he was going to do the cath in the leg or arm. I said no. He said im going through your wrist on right hand. I was suppose to go under twilight antistetia. Ive have 10 procudures under twilight so i new what to exspect. he immediatly started the procedure before they had even started the antistia. I yelled out that he was hurting me and that i havent been given the medicine yet to make me sleep. The antistesous said he had to wait on my blood pressure to come up. The dr says ill be done in a minute. Then the severe pain hurt and i started kicking my feet an screaming and crying becaues of the pain. I was begging him to stop and wait for me to be under first. All he said was, im almost done an he told the antistesous to give me more drugs. He is a barbarion! so if you want to go into surgery awake an completely alert call him. He will definatly mistreat you and not even blink an eye. I havent seen him since. Im currently looking for a cardiologist to go over all my tests an the cath so i can get trearment before i have a possible heart attack. I dont recomment dr. Chan, he doesnt care about you ,your only a number. I got horrble treatment and now im afraid of having medical procedures under twighlight.
