Keith W. Cushing, MD

I have never written a negative review about any business before, however I feel I absolutely have to write this one! I was referred by my family Doctor to Dr. Cushing. It took me well over a month to get the appointment during which I naturally worried about what was wrong with me. I showed up at 8:40 for 9 am appointment and the girl behind the counter told me that I would have to reschedule because I needed to fill out new patient paperwork and I couldn't get it done that fast. She said that there wasn't enough time to get it done now before my 9am appointment. She said that the best she could do for me is get me in again in a month. Actually just over a month. I feel if that was the case they should have told me that my appointment was at 8:30? I was told 9. I do know to be at appointments early but to reschedule me is just plain wrong. I will never ever go back to this office. Another option would have been for them to mail me my paperwork ahead of time as some offices do. He may be a fine doctor but he has a lousy staff and or policies!! I have no idea at this point where I am going or who I will see but it will definitely not be here!!

Empathetic - Comprehensive - InsightfulnnDr. Cushing and his staff are truly exceptional. Dr. Cushing demonstrated rare talent and an ability to empathize beyond other physicians. While I was experiencing the fog of uncertainty and a sense of being overwhelmed with my recent diagnosis, he and his staff were able to assist me in navigating my adversity while educating my family to tailor their support to me in order to progress and enhance my rehabilitation. While it is under unfortunate circumstances, I feel I'm in the best care to develop and overcome my situation.

I could not have asked for better Neurologist. He listens to everything I have to say . listen to any concerns I have. He never rushes me out the door , he will sit and answer or explain what is going on. He is also not afraid to say when something is beyond his understanding of expertise. Last thing, he never gives up.

This was the worse doctor I have ever had. He spent maybe all of 4 minutes in the room with me. Half of the time he was on the phone. The receptionist are horrible at returning phone calls. They are not friendly and will not give you direct answers. Took me 4 times to get a hold of them to get my results. They had no desire to help me.

Dr Cushing was our neurologist during an admission after an ER visit and he was great. He took his time, answered all our questions, and made a full assessment.
