Johnson County Fairground Campground

Good social distancing between booths. I did see some customers lowering their masks for a while after being admitted. Some people don't seem to get it, which is a shame since one of them was an elderly lady in a electric wheelchair.

We set up there for nearly a month, was working nearby in Trafalgar. Rick was the campground host during our stay. He was great. The maintenance man (can't remember his name to save my life) was also helpful and kind. The shower house was roomy, had hot water & great pressure. Only downfall of the shower house was there wasn't a shelf to put my stuff while I showered. Other guests were nice, considerate and respectful. The grounds were clean even after the events that were there during our stay (car show & swap meet, the touch a truck & some livestock? show).nnMy only issue throughout the whole time there was the a few of the volunteers of the touch a truck event. They were rude when we were trying to enter or leave the campground through the entrance off Morton. And not really being informed of the event ahead of time. Our dog was with us and hes just not used to the constant beeping of various horns/sirens. So he was freaking out.nThere's plenty of places to eat nearby as well as shopping. Greenwood and Edinburgh are a close enough trip for the same. I also recommend going to Nashville, Indiana. Tons of shopping there. All in all, this is a great place to set up. If we're ever back this way, we'll definitely stay here again.

Good place to set up your camper if you are just needing a place to set. Work good for us doing travel ball.
