I normally don't do medical reviews, but I feel compelled to tell everyone about this amazing doctor. When searching for a doctor who treats Central Sensitivity (debilitating form of Fibromyalgia), you hope that the person is as understanding as they describe themselves. Sadly, I found out how terribly false that is. It has taken me 10 years and 6 doctors to find THE one who treats me like a human being. I was able to get in 2 weeks the first time I called. Two people canceled and his kind Adminisrative Specialist, Kim, thought of me. She wanted me to get in soon because I was suffering. I'm so grateful. Dr. Steven Windley is, hands down, the best doctor to treat individuals who have pain disorders. He truly cares for his patients. On the first visit, he spent 45mins listening to me and asking REAL questions about how the disease effects my life. Unlike the doctors in Indianapolis who have a similar skill set, he's not out to get your money. Once a week, we drive 2 hours and 20mins just to get a 30min magnesium infusion. Eventually, I won't have to travel weekly. But it doesn't matter because having my life back is worth it.
