We arranged to stay with a Harvest Host location just off hwy. 65 in Indiana. We choose Chateau de Pique for our visit. We called and emailed with Mark setting our our first Harvest Home overnight.nMark is incredibly welcoming and informative about their operation and how he came to manage it. They choose wisely. The coincidently... Mark is from West Bend and knew exactly where we lived on the '33 Corridor. Plus he is another fan of Widmer's Cheese.nIt started to rain so we hustled into the tasting room and store. Becky was our attendant and let us sample many of the wines. I had a hard time choosing one to have a glass of after sampling. We bought a bottle of red to drink with spaghetti for supper.nWe enjoyed our visit.... thanks Mark and Becky ❣nJacki & Doug T

Definitely worth the stop, great wines and beer.. Do email or call as their hours are still adjusted now for the pandemic.

This is one of our favorite places to visit- we usually come here spring and fall and usually leave with a case or more of wine. Today we visited and had a not so good experience. The wine attendant quickly told us she was out of cheeses so couldn’t accommodate the groupon - we had drove an hour and a half to get here - she said well you should have called she begrudgingly gave us three very small tastes of wine - in an extremely slow manner. We have really enjoyed coming here in the past because the person had always been friendly and accommodating - today we did not experience that. We may try it once more since we do have an unused Groupon - but we were sadly disappointed.nnSince I posted this review the Winemaker has contacted me several times and has worked hard at making up for our disappointing visit.nI am impressed at his efforts- I will update review again after our next visitnnWell I’m happy to say we gave them a second chance today and had a wonderful afternoon. Had a new wine attendant Lindsey and she was great! She kept apologizing for being new but she was friendly welcoming and provided a great experience! The wines are always great but how they are presented in a tasting room is obviously important!
