Hoosier Gym

Hoosier Gym is one of the coolest places on earth. Period. If you love the movie Hoosiers and love the sport of basketball, then you will definitely love the Hoosier Gym. Situated in quaint downtown Knightstown, Indiana, Hoosier Gym is a shrine dedicated to not only the movie but to Indiana basketball as a whole. Whether you’re from North Carolina like I am or any other state, you’ll appreciate the rich basketball history and the awesome opportunity to shoot hoops in the gym, sit where Gene Hackman sat in the locker room, and purchase a Jimmy Chitwood jersey in the shop!! Worth the visit whenever you’re in Indiana!!

I went to KHS for 8 years and the gym is exactly the same as it was in the 50's and 60's. Love this place and this hometown.

Even though I am not a basketball fan, I really enjoyed being there especially the history and architecture. The staff were helpful and made it so much more interesting!

Has not changed since the movie period very knowledgeable tour guides. Plan on spending about an hour here.

Cool place to stop by. Sadly I got there just after they closed. Still really cool to look in the windows. Great just for the history of it.
