Riley Physicians Pediatrics - Mooresville

I have debated on whether to post this or not, but ultimately decided to save some poor soul some time.nI have lived in this state only since December. When I moved here my youngest was only 2 weeks old. I looked for a local pediatrician and decided to come to come here.nI’m absolutely appalled at this place. Let me list a few reasons why:n-They have been provided with consent to obtain my youngest sons vaccination record from the day of his birth. THEY STILL DON’T HAVE IT. In fact, EVERYTIME I go there Dr. Jones asks me about if he has a Hep shot on the day of his birth.n*I have provided consent, name, phone number and address of the hospital he was born in!n- When I called to make a sick visit appointment for my youngest son the person who scheduled the appointment told me that the office was having a meeting around the time of my appointment. I said very clearly I didn’t want to be waiting around through a meeting and she said it should be FINE. It was not. I waited with a sick baby for over 30 minutes in the waiting room. I saw a group of staff walking out of a room and I knew that I had waited through that meeting.n- I took my youngest son for his next scheduled vaccination and between the waiting room, waiting on Dr. Jones, and then waiting on a nurse I was there a total of 3 hours! So long my husband called to make sure we were alright. Not to mention how very rude and inconsiderate Dr. Jones and his nurse were. They had to confer in the hallway outside our room door because they were giving conflicting advice about breastfeeding.n- That brings me to today. My baby was once again getting a shot. A simple nurses visit. They were also going to weigh him since they raked me over the coals for 3 hours last visit about him losing 1/2 a lb. I arrived and signed in. The receptionist was on the phone. I waited and waited. A family walked in after me and got called 5 minutes later. I didn’t think much of it because I didn’t know their situation. So I waited another 15 minutes. 30 minuets of waiting! I walked up to the window and informed the woman I was 30 minutes into waiting and I wanted to leave and never return. She apologized profusely. She said she didn’t see my name written clearly on her sheet of names. They called me 10 minutes later. Everyone apologized. They gave him the shot. Never weighed him. Had the nurse who treated me like a breastfeeding idiot at the last appointment come to say she was sorry. I mentioned to her this was pretty much my last straw and then I left.n***Save yourself! Don’t go here. I don’t know what has taken me so long to see they absolutely have 0 respect for me me, my kids, or our time. If you think you’ll be different I hope you’re not disappointed. I feel absolutely disrespected by this facility!***

Dr Bernhardt is outstanding. Great staff as well.

Even with an appointment the wait time is lengthy. I wish they would schedule their appointments to allow time for longer ones.nI will say the doctors and staff are extremely helpful and friendly and for that we will, continue to go.

Very knowledgeable and pro-active staff and doctors. We trust them and have been very pleased with the service they provide.

Love, love, love the staff! Kids love the doctor!
