Anytime Fitness

I went to this gym almost everyday for two years. Daniel was terrific, good guy. It is not a “hard core” gym but I did some good powerlifting there without too much trouble. Sadly, I had to move away and I have not found a great replacement gym yet.

The facility is fine, never had to wait for any free weights, plenty of machines for people that like those, relatively clean, weird bathrooms but well kept.nnThe two stars however is purely a result of the staff. My mother is at pretty high risk of dying if she contracts covid-19. There aren't any sure fire ways to make sure she is safe on the horizon, so my parents decided they wouldn't be able to safely go to a gym anytime in the next few months at least. They brought these concerns to the staff hoping to work something out, and brought up the fact that if they have health concerns, their contract provides the ability to leave their membership. The first staff member wasn't very helpful and seemed a bit unhappy my parents didn't want to continue their membership. They asked to bring their concerns to someone that might be able to do something about their predicament and the employee was pretty peeved about it which was shocking because I have only had good experiences with the guy. They were able to get in touch with a supervisor that was more professional, but assured them that my mothers health concerns with covid were not valid health concerns and that they wouldn't be allowing my parents to void their contract.nnI understand everyone is under economic strain right now, gyms included. That said, my families health and ability to continue living is not something we are not willing to gamble on. The people that go to this location aren't required to wear masks and what not, and I don't blame them if they don't, but it does make it a pretty high risk environment for my mom. My parents will be paying out their contract, but won't be returning to that gym. They are really nice and averse to confrontation, so I feel really unhappy that these guys gave them such a hard time, on top of refusing to acknowledge the risk to my mothers life.

Great place to work out since it is close to my work. The owner, Daniel, is super nice & helpful. He knows my name & greets me w/ my name in the greeting! Nice touch Daniel & keep up the great work!

Worst place ever all equipment is from core in mooresville an they will try everything to get your money not worth the price, the stress or hassle

Gym is well-equipped and always clean. I've been a member for more than 10 years. The rates are very affordable, and with it being open 24 hours, you can't beat the convenience. Highest recommendation!
