Terrible-I Asked the cashier how much to mail this card with a light weight face mask inside and the response was “probably” 3.80.I mean that’s why I came in to ask you. I didn’t expect to get a “probably.” I was pretty sure that wasn’t correct so I went to UPS and he weighed it measured it and said two stamps would work. I do hope they Arrive without any postage due. At least he knew his job. No wonder the post office is losing money.
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the carriers and management of the Brownsburg Post Office after I mailed my mortgage payment without a stamp. I realized my error and called to see if I could get the letter back. Management called me back promptly to tell me they found my letter and went ahead and placed a stamp on it for me and mailed it!! They went over and beyond and for that I really appreciate it!
For some reason usps won't deliver packages to apartment doors, nor will they leave you a note saying they didn't deliver your package so you have to watch your tracking closely. Then when you go pick up your stuff at the post office and have to interact with more people they aren't even wearing masks! Worst post office ever.
The employees hate their job, and it shows. Use the local UPS store instead if you can.
I went to USPS in Brownsburg, IN to mail a small package, and they refused to tape the package for me. I had just mailed two packages at The UPS Store a block away, and they were not only kind but they also taped both packages for me. The USPS store wanted me to buy a whole roll of tape just to tape my one small package (less than 1 pound). The lady who was working there was very rude and mean. I immediately left the USPS and went across the street to UPS Store, and they not only taped for me BUT they also mailed it for me for FREE.
