Tonic

Wow. Some places are bars this one is an artistic drink studio. I went with a friend to hear live music and was blown away at the beverages being crafted behind the bar. Flavours I had never thought to pair on the menu, but if it is not packed when you show up (good luck with that!) Ask the bartender to create a favourite of their own. Again, wow.

I have frequented this bar a couple times. And as a Small business owner living in Santa Fe I have tried numerous times to give this place the benefit of the doubt and shown them patronage. I want them to succeed. But they make it increasingly impossible to give them multiple chances. They have so many things going for them they have a fantastic location they have good ambience they have a great liquor selection but what they lack so abundantly is in customer service. I almost think that they are intentionally trying to be too highbrow and to elitist because they think that will bring them some kind of accolade. Anyway without being overly wordy they are pretentious they are elitist they think their holier than thou and they are not at all inviting or comfortable whatsoever they lack all the things that are the most important in any establishment that is working customer service. I don’t care how good their drinks are I don’t care how good their ambience is if they cannot treat customers with respect with gratitude with humility they are the lowest of the low. I’ve gotten more respect and more humility from a parking meter. It truly is a shame because again like I said they have a lot of things going for them but I believe their whole attitude and their whole platform towards our customers will ultimately be their demise.

Tonic is awesome and deserves our business! Stopped in and my friend had a bad experience with a man making bad comments to her in the hallway. I told the owner and he immediately took action without hesitation. To make someone feel safe as a bar in invaluable, go here if you want an amazing experience and exquisite cocktails. (I love their mules with home made ginger extract)

Great location for a cocktail. Friendly staff and tasty cocktails. The band was great and the decor is amazing. Highly recommended.

I love everything about Tonic and it has become a ritual for me. Even without the lockdown this city seems hell-bent on destroying every business that makes it worth living here so I'm really hoping that Tonic can survive 2020.
