They seem nice, and really shouldn't have a 1 star review because someone thought that they should rescue their kitten
My young son and his girlfriend called frantic when they couldn't get their injured kitten out of a high tree. They figured the Elizabeth Fire Deparent had ladders and could help. We get that they said they couldn't do it but the dispatcher got rude and nasty with them. There's no excuse for that. There's no excuse for being unprofessional. They are in the wrong business for caring for others if that's the best they could do. Thanks to a neighbors friend with a tree trimming business for taking his equipment, shimming up the tree to rescue their beloved pet. Interestingly , Floyd County Fire Department said they would do it if they were in their county. The Elizabeth Fire Department should be ashamed of their behavior with these young folks.
