The ranger at the visitor center was very friendly and immediately began helping us find the Whooping Cranes. Restrooms were available and clean. One suggestion... See if you can get the local schools to sponsor clean up days. We noticed quite a bit of trash along the roadsides.

My wife and I thoroughly em enjoyed our visit to the fairly new Goose Pond visitors center and Goose Pond. The biologist on duty (Sunday, october 25th, 2020) was extremely welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. He spent time with us answering our questions and providing additional information, including how to find a flock of white pelicans located at the NW corner of the property. We were able to find and view them based on his directions. Thank you to him for making our day trip to Goose Pond a rewarding trip!

Great place. I appreciate the conservation efforts and public access. While more needs to be done to preserve this area and more, I acknowledge and am grateful for the anglers, hunters and conservationists who made this happen. I met with a pleasant gentleman named Eddie at the desk. In today's bigoted world its was nice to interact with a guy who stayed on point and presented what is important for a Conservationist and Photographer like me. Kudos to him and many like him who truly make America a great place and constructive community!

Not open when we went. You could see for a long way off, and it was pretty, but at the time there was not much to see.
