Very peaceful park. I know they have a lot of happenings here. I went with my son today...lots of steps for little ones but worth it. Great view, clean park area (besides the ducky doo)...boat dock, police patrolled. Not very crowded. Great walking path along the river. And also a higher look out area.
Nice stage with an excellent view. Has fully developed nearby bathroom facilities. Nearby skatepark, basketball courts, and other activities. A fantastic paved walking path runs through the area.
Huge area to walk or run, and take kids and pets. Also close to the Ohio River, and a park for kids to play on. There is a railroad track that runs parallel to the park so you can watch trains up close go by. It has a nice size amphitheater for plays or concerts. Great area to go with kids, pets or anyone. Free parking close by, it's also next to a YMCA gym and pool.
I don't think I've ever attended an event at the actual stage. I do enjoy the walking path along the river. There's also a decent park down there that I've taken my child to once or twice.
Visiting from Tennessee and decided to drop in here to take some pics. Did not realize a play would be going on. We decided to stay and watch. It was a Dr. Seuss play and it was great! It was a great added bonus to our trip!
