The location of the inn in New Albany, IN is close enough to Louisville for convenience, but far enough away for a relaxed, small-town feel. New Albany was very charming with many good restaurants and historical features. The Inn was comfortable, low-key, and beautifully decorated, creating a wonderful atmosphere for our anniversary getaway. Melissa, the owner, was always available and responsive to questions. The room was well appointed with a private bathroom. Snacks and coffee/tea were always available and the pool was refreshing on a hot Summer day. I highly recommend the Admiral Bicknell Inn.

They had great Service from the time I walked in, to the time I left. They had great tasting food and the rooms were nice and clean. The bathroom was clean and had the usual stuff for guests like the shampoo and towels. The front desk attendant was nice and she was fast, she knew what she was doing, she got me to my room in no time. Over all, the stay was great I would personally prefer it to other people who want a great night at a nice INN compared to others.

Very well located B and B in New Albany. It is within easy walking distance of downtown New Albany where you can shop and dine. The hostess/owner was very accommodating with our arrangements and was quick to respond to any queries. Our suite was huge! I do wish we had been given a choice for breakfast, however. There was only one offering.

I had to travel for business and stayed at the Inn in the Paris room. I arrived late, but the owner was very accomodating, going out of her way to make me feel comfortable and make sure all of my needs were met. I only wish I would have had more time to spend in the Inn as it is a beautiful mansion, well kept, clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was awesome - best I have had a B & B with a fresh fruit bowl that was delicious. I definitely plan on staying here again as I slept great (bed was perfect), had best shower I can remember and enjoyed everything about the Inn. If you have the time to spend, this would be a relaxing get away in downtown New Albany. Wish I had more time to chat with the owner as she was very knowledgeable about the area, the Inn, and a great person!
