Advanced ENT and Allergy

I went to Dr. Carter about my hearing. He suggested I have a tube placed in my ear. He then suggested that I be allergy tested. I attempted the allergy test twice. Keep in mind that the allergy place is right next to his facility. Both times, i didn't react. When i went back to Dr. Carter for a follow up i asked if i could do a blood test. He said no, i think you should try the allergy test one more time. I told him my hearing was worse with the tube in and he said...it shouldn't be. At that point i decided I was done with him, his suggestions and his advice. Apparently he is only there for the money. I detest Dr's like him. You take a hippocratic oath and you don't hold up your end.nnAnyway, I went to an actual hearing place and was told that the damage that has been done to my hearing is irreparable. I had to get hearing aids. I was told that there is absolutely no reason for the tube in my ear. Dr. Carter does NOT care about the well being of his patients. He only cares about the money that he receives. I tell everyone I know not to go to ENT on Daisy Lane in New Albany, Indiana. Dr. Carter is money hungry!!!! I will NEVER step foot in this place again!!!!

I just recently had dad in to see Leslie. She and Dr K have taken care of his ears and throat for a number of years. Dad likes both and I like that both talk directly to him instead of me, his daughter and guardian. Nearly 98 years old, he likes being in the conversation, especially with a young, pretty blonde like Leslie. He has never had pain or a bad experience with office visits. We would recommend this office for all your ENT needs.

I have been coming to Dr K for several years. Have always been treated well. Now I have Leslie and she does a very good job. The Office Staff is always courteous and kind. Would not go anywhere else.

I had a great experience at this office! I was very happy to see that they were taking precautions to protect their patients. When I called for an appointment, they scheduled me in, then sent me an email that allowed me to fill out my paperwork electronically in the comfort of my own home so I wouldn't have to do it physically in the office. This also reduced the amount of time I would need to spend in the waiting room. When I got there, they had the chairs in the waiting room spread out and checked patients' temperatures. I saw Leslie Leffler, APRN. She was very knowledgeable and friendly! She patiently listened to all my questions regarding my particular issue (I had many questions) and answered them thoughtfully and thoroughly. I left the office with a plan in place for treatment and further help if I needed it down the road. They took really good care of me and I felt relieved!

She is super awesome! Very patient and kind and explained everything thoroughly. The MA that helped me was in a rush each and every time she came in the room. She wasn’t very patient but I don’t think it’s was her fault vs the amount of work they have her doing. It does come off as rude but I know it wasn’t intended. I hope they get the MA’s help soon.
