I stopped in one night to get a manicure The man who did my service wanted to know why I was getting the service done. I told him I just got off work and I was looking forward to getting my nails done. He then pressed me for many details about where I worked and what I did. I don't mind telling people this, but it was odd how much he wanted me to reveal this . He then asked why I was getting my nails done at this salon if I worked in New Albany. I told him it was because I lived out here and it was close to home. (Don't a lot of people work in New Albany or Louisville?!) He acted like he did not believe me and pressed me for more details about exactly where I lived. I was glad when the service was over and I was able to leave. He wasn't trying to make conversation - it was more of an interrogation. Was I not the right kind of client in his opinion? If you do not live in the knobs are you welcome here? I was excited for a clean new salon close to home but I will never be back after the way I was treated during my first service.

First time here - will be back. First I walk in and the place is stunningly gorgeous, very clean/ crisp feeling, classical music playing and a gentleman to who greeted. I got the organic spa pedicure and let me tell you... it was nothing short of amazing! Sugar scrubs, hot stones, leg mask and orange slices used to message ❤ufe0f Not to mention they opened up every utensil from a sterilized containerud83dudc4dud83cudffc Very happy customer!!

I am new to the area and today was my first visit to Lavish Salon and Spa. I had a great experience! Kim was incredible. I got an amazing manicure and pedicure! The salon is beautiful and so clean. They truly care about their customers experience and I will most definitely be back. My best friend and I have already planned a trip in a few weeksud83dudc9c

This was my first experience at this salon and I was so excited to finally have my nails done since the covid-19 quarantine. I have to say in the 15 years that I’ve been getting my nails done this job was the worst. The interior was beautiful and everyone was very friendly but my nails turned out horrible. I’ve been doing the dipping powder for over 2 years now. They usually last 3-4 weeks minimum. It’s barely been a week and the powder is already separating from my natural nail causing my hair to get stuck in between (which is my biggest pet peeve ever). They were not filed down correctly at the cuticle so the powder overlay overlaps my natural cuticle line. For the amount of money I spent there that day on nails and pedicures for myself and my daughter I am extremely disappointed. I will not be returning.
