Red Roof Inn Georgetown

Been staying here on and off during the last few months. The staff is very friendly and nice. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Also pets stay free. The beds are nice and comfortable. The rooms are nice and roomy.

If you are staying in/near Louisville Kentucky then I would highly recommend this establishment. It is located literally 10-15 minutes from downtown Louisville but has none of the negatives associated with actually staying in town (traffic, noise, high price, etc).nThe cleanliness here is impeccable. We've stayed here a few times and every time our room has been 5 stars out of 5 on the cleanliness scale and the amenities one would expect from a much pricier place.

Hotel property was nice and clean, as was my room. As of early August 2020, you are required to wear a mask any time you are outside of your room. Failure to wear a mask would result in you being forced to leave the property, according to multiple signs posted around the property. Pool was closed & there was no breakfast served as well.nnMy room had wood laminate flooring throughout, except for carpet along the sides of the beds (I had 2 queen beds in my room). There was a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker below the wall mounted, flat screen, TV. My only complaint was that the rooms were a little dark because there were only 3 lights in the room. I was on the 1st floor, so I didn't want to open the window shade. There were 2 lights above the nightstand and one, wall mounted, near the TV. The bathroom lighting was ok, but the shower was a little dark. There were only 3 bulbs above the sink mirror, to light the bathroom & shower. There was no vent/fan in the bathroom, so everything was damp after a hot shower. Not a big issue, but something to be aware of.nnYou may hear an occasional dog bark, since Red Roof is pet friendly & doesn't charge extra for pets, but it was never an issue for me & I don't remember hearing any after 8 or 9pm. There was a nice place, outside, to walk dogs and the hotel provided bags and a trash can to make cleaning up after them easy.nnI enjoyed my stay here & will stay here again next time I'm in the area & need a room.

Absolutely the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Management and staff were very friendly. Beautiful grounds if you are travelling with pets. Highly recommend

Surprisingly better than what I had expected based on I had heard about other red roof inns. However hallway noise comes through walls and ceilings. The room was clean. The AC was a bit noisey but functioned well.
