I've been with State Farm Ins (Bright, IN branch) for 5 years now. I had been with Farm Bureau for 40+ years but when I had a disagreement with a critter about which of us had ownership of the lane in which I traveling, I lost the argument and Farm Bureau left me stranded for 2 weeks in South Georgia. My agent (in Aurora, IN) refused to talk to me and he forwarded my calls to corporate in Indy. Anyway, I canceled all my insurance with FB and called Ed Brack at State Farm. He gave me the same coverage I had with FB and added a preferred discount to the policies. I wish I had switched sooner. I haven't yet filed a claim with State Farm but I'm sure they will be more cooperative than Indiana Farm Bureau. The local office has been very helpful.
