Matt was very knowledgeable and patient in explaining the law to me. Marilyn has a wealth of experience and clearly explained the paperwork that I needed to obtain. I was so concerned about our current problems when I arrived at the appointment but afterward I felt so happy and relieved that all would work out just fine with Matt's help. I Highly recommend their practice.

Mr. Denmure..Please convince your client (the executor of the late Connie Lay) to relinquish the dog named Bela, formerly belonging to Connie Lay, to Best Friends animal society in Utah. If funds are an issue, I am 100% positive the dog loving community will provide funds for this dog to lead a happy and full life. I would be more than happy to donate funds as well.nnFor those interested: Best Friends is a wonderful sanctuary for all animals. Dogs are not kept in kennels 100% of the time, they have free range access to the outdoors as well as human interaction and are well cared for. I also assume once they have legal possession of the dog, they might be able to re-home him to a loving family.

I disagree completely. The woman made her decision, and if Doug had any reservations about it, he should have informed her at the time. I just wonder how many of those rallying to keep the dog would go TODAY to the shelter and adopt one who's going to be killed? Thousands are waiting to be saved.nnIf Connie Lay had a friend or relative responsible enough to care for her dog as she would, she would have made that provision. And sending the dog to Best Friends is the stupidest thing I've read. Living in a kennel among hundreds of other dogs is an egregious injustice, and a shameful one!nnFurther, how did this issue become public? This is a private matter that should have been handled PRIVATELY!

A will CAN be broken.nI will gladly keep the dog, whennit passes naturally, I will have it crematednand spread on her grave.nThis woman was NOT in her right mindnto do this to her friend,
