Staff was polite and courteous. Very helpful. Good fishing and nice fish cleaning station. Nice showers and restrooms. Excellent camping. Nice little store with live bait and most anything you might need. LOVED IT.
This place has gone downhill in the last 2 years. It was a great place to fish, now it is few and far between. Something needs to happen! Either restock the place or keep an eye on all the Amish hoarding all the fish!!! We have to pay to get in, it has been a waste of money and time recently. Please do something! This place was amazing at one point in time. I am very disappointed.
This is a difficult one to review. The facilities and property were well maintained, so kudos for that, but the topography and layout of some campsites on Whitetail were tertible. The gravel pad on our site in Whitetail was not level or sufficient in size. It was long enough to accommodate our small RV (26') but we barely had enough room for our picnic table anywhere on our site. Also, the electric and water hookups were located too far away from the pad. I had to buy a 30a extension cable and did not have enough hose for the water. The layout of some sites is just unacceptable...they should not even reserve them. Having said that the grounds themselves, the scenery, the pavillions, the boat ramp, and the lake are beautiful. Staff in the camp store were very polite and helpful, too.
We loved West Boggs Campground! Nice camping areas (we had full hookup!), hiking trails, multiple playgrounds, beautiful lake, golf course next door....we will definitely make this a yearly campsite!
They could have thought it out better for the water and electric poles. We had to buy extra hose like 40 ft extra and burrowed 2 25 ft electric cords to have power. But in all a great place to come.
