Cool place.. beautiful rock formations.. not far off the road. Great for a short adventure.

I love the Hoosier National Forest. The climb to the top of the watchtower to view the fall foliage is a must. 111 feet tall.

Very nice, quiet state park. Gods hiking trails and fishing pond. It’s $7 per Indiana resident per car, which is a little expensive for a couple hours fishing. Indiana state parks don’t offer military or veteran discounts and I think that would be a nice improvement. All in all, I’ll continue to use the park despite the price because it has nice amenities.

We had a fantastic time in the forest.... The 5 mile hike in and 5 mile hike out was long for my 4 and 2 year old but we knew that coming in.... We loved taking a dip in the lake once we got there.... Great time but plan on taking the cannoe in next time to see more than the little peninsula we were on!!!
