Clay City Center for Family Medicine

The office administrator who answers the phone and makes appointments is extremely sweet and informative and the only reason I gave two stars. As a new member of the community I was seeking to establish with a doctor closer to home as my doctor had moved to Indianapolis. My information was taken and communicated that it would need to be approved as a new patient. I have always doctored with Union Hospital Health group so my records should be fairly easy to access. Two months and three phone calls with no follow up from this office I gave up. Today I tried to get an appointment for my son and was greeted with the same situation that he would need to be approved as a new patient. Although we don't seek medical attention often this medical group has lost three patients with commercial health insurance and we have taken our business to St. Vincent's where service is fast, friendly and follow up is prompt.
