I had a closing with Momentum Title Agency. They did not call the New Albany Sewer Department to check on the sewer bill and I got stuck with an almost $500 bill. When I called them they basically said “it’s not our responsibility”. They told me to call the old owner and “get it from them”. I asked them if I could get my owners title policy to pay it and they said “no”. What did I pay them for?? There are other good title companies in New Albany, I would recommend one of them and “not” Momentum. There are other title companies that will check on current sewer bills. This one “does not” per their policy.
