Today the unthinkable happened: my apartment complex caught on fire. I live in the unit right next door to the ones that were completely destroyed, and I had barely enough time to get out. Needless to say, this experience was a bit traumatic for me. I didn’t know what was going to happen, when I’d be able to enter my apartment again, or any important details. There were a few things that made this situation bearable, and one of those was the Redmond Fire Department. Officer Clara seriously ROCKED! She held my dogs while I went into my smoke infested apartment to grab my things, and she also called me when I accidentally left some valuables there. I will never forget this woman and the kindness she showed me. Well done, RFD! And thank you Ms. Clara. I will always feel grateful for you!
