The Little Clinic

Normally I have really good experiences with them but I made an online appointment as I usually would. Everything worked, I got a confirmation email and number. Because of Covid we are supposed to call before we go in, which is fine. Only the phone rang and rang, and the pharmacy picked it up to tell me that the clinic is closed...nI’m not sure what happens but the online system needs to be able to sync with the actual clinic hours itself. This really threw a monkey wrench in my entire day.

My daughter stopped in there tonight( clearly she is not feeling well or this would not have happened)! The person working tonight told my daughter they did not take her particular insurance. She did not make a phone call or check in any way to confirm this lie! I , myself called the insurance company to verify that- YES- the little clinic does accept this particular insurance. I realize it takes a few minutes to make a phone call but, when you are not busy- then DO YOUR JOB or don’t accept pay!!!!

The person checking in is extremely rude. Was in the restroom fixing her hair when I came up to the desk. Seemed annoyed that I came in to be seen. Took my BP through my winter coat and sweat shirt....not sure it works that way. We bought our daughter here a few months ago and was really pleased with the service hence why I came today. The NP was super nice, but they definitely need new front staff.

I visited this location Saturday afternoon when my son was showing signs of being ill. Of course this wasn't planned, hence the reason for visiting an immediate care center. We arrived at 4:30 and checked in. There was one man in the waiting area who had checked in seconds before us. The physician came out and asked me if I had checked in. I told her I had. She then asked if I had an appt to which I replied I did not. She then told me she couldn't see us. I said you can't see him when he is sick and you're open until 5pm? She said no, there are four people ahead of you. So we had to find another healthcare facility 20 minutes away and my son was diagnosed with the flu and strep. I will never visit this healthcare clinic again. I don't see how you can be a physician and turn a sick child away when your office is still open. No excuse.

Con Artist- Do not waste your time with these Jokers- Seriously. Staff makes own rules regarding blood pressure medicine refills. Staff unfriendly. Was using for nearly three years since they opened in Charlestown, IN each year different staff. Had received prescription refills for same medicine since then, until today was denied.
